About Gnuke
One click unsubscribes you from a Gmail sender and sends everything they already mailed you to the Trash.
- Chrome extension and phone app
- Mail stays on your device
- Guides checked against the source
Gnuke is a Chrome extension that puts a bomb button in Gmail, plus a phone app at app.getgnuke.com. Click it on a sender and two things happen. Gnuke unsubscribes you, through the sender's own unsubscribe link or with an unsubscribe email sent from your account. Then it moves every email that sender already sent you to Trash. Starred and labeled mail stays put, and Undo works for 30 days.
Some senders keep writing after you unsubscribe. Gnuke can block those. Clean up lists your newsletter senders so you can clear a bunch of them at once. Your email content stays on your device: Gnuke talks to Gmail from your browser or phone, and no Gnuke server sees your mail.
The free plan gives you 10 nukes a month. Unlimited is $29.99 a year. The details are in how it works and pricing, and the phone side is on Gnuke on your phone.
Who makes it
Gnuke is an independent app, not made by or affiliated with Google. Questions, bug reports and feature wishes go to hello@getgnuke.com. The rules for using Gnuke are in the Terms of Use, and what it can see in your Gmail is spelled out in the Privacy Policy.
How the guides are made
Our guides walk you through stopping one company's email, so the steps have to match what that company shows you. Every brand guide takes its steps from the company's own public help pages and policies, and the page shows the date we checked them. Screenshots are of public pages only, never anything behind a login.
When a company's pages don't cover something, such as how long an opt-out takes, the guide names the pages we read and says they don't cover it. We don't fill the gap with a guess.
We draft with help from AI, and every step is checked against the cited source before it goes up. The comparisons follow the same rule: each one links its sources and shows the date we checked them.
Spot a step that no longer matches the company's page? Write to hello@getgnuke.com and we'll fix it.
